About The Hotel Coach

The Hotel Coach was founded by hospitality professional Claire Steven to provide experienced, practical coaching and consultancy to hotel owners, operators and leadership teams.

With more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Claire brings deep operational knowledge, commercial insight and leadership expertise to hotels looking to improve performance, navigate change or unlock new opportunities.

Her work focuses on helping hospitality businesses build stronger leadership, clearer strategy and better commercial outcomes.

Claire’s career has been shaped by working within complex hospitality businesses where operational excellence, commercial awareness and strong leadership are essential.

She has extensive experience in resort hotels, destination properties and event-led businesses, as well as airport hotels and provincial city markets across the UK.

Her operational background spans a wide range of hospitality disciplines including:
